Raids and pursuits of wanted individuals in Dar el Wassaa – Bekaa

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Units from the LAF Rangers are executing raids and pursuits of wanted individuals in Dar el Wassaa – Bekaa where they confiscated a large amount of narcotics and combat weapons as well as related ammunition and military equipment. While performing these missions, these units were exposed to fire by wanted individuals and returned fire, leading to the injury of 3 individuals, while LAF units continue the raids in order to arrest the individuals, confiscate forbidden items and prevent violations.
