The reception ceremony of Defense Minister's

LAF Commander in Chief, General Joseph Aoun received the new Minister of Defense, Maurice Selim in the presence of members of the Military Council and senior commanding officers, prior to the handover ceremony that the Ministry of National Defense witnessed between former Minister Zeina Akar and the new minister.

In the courtyard of the Ministry of Defense, units of the Navy forces, Air Force, Military Police and Army Music performed honorary ceremonies.
