The reception of several devices and technologies for equipping a crises management center, offered as a donation from the Italian unit for the sake of the LAF

The reception ceremony of of several devices and technologies for equipping a crises management center, offered as a donation from the Italian unit for the sake of the LAF was held today in Benoit Barakat barrack – Tyr. The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the South Litani sector Brigadier General P.S.C Khalil el Gemayyel representing the LAF Commander as well as the commander of the west sector in the UNIFIL General Ugo Cillo and the Italian battalion commander Colonel Angelo Di Domenico along with several officers. Brigadier General Gemayyel delivered a speech on the occasion in which he extended his appreciation to the command of the Italian battalion for their logistic aid to the LAF and commended the cooperation between the LAF and the UNIFIL as well as the joint efforts in order to provide constant stability in the southern borderline regions and the complete commitment to the provisions of resolution 1701.

In the end, Brigadier General Gemayyel recited an appreciation letter and presented it to General Cillo. Brigadier General Gemayyel also offered him the Army memorial shield as a token of appreciation and gratitude.
