Referral of a Syrian to the Military Public Prosecution

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Intelligence Directorate referred to the Military Public Prosecution the Syrian (D.AA.) after he was arrested in Arsal - Bekaa, for belonging to terrorist organizations and leading a group that participated in the fight against the Lebanese army. He entered Lebanon surreptitiously, using the identity of his Syrian brother-in-law (A.H.), after the news of his death in Syria spread. DNA tests were conducted and his original identity was confirmed.
