SAD DEMISE OF RETIRED BRIGADIER GENERAL AHMAD EL-OTHMAN

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General Ahmad el-Othman who passed away on 24/8/2020.

The following information present a brief summary of his life and military career:

• Born on 4/12/1961 in al-Borj – Akkar.
• Enlisted in the Army on 19/5/1983 and rose through the ranks, starting as a Lieutenant on 6/5/1985 and reached the rank of Brigadier General starting with 2/1/2012.
• Received several medals and decorations as well as commendations and congratulations of the LAF Commander in chief.
• Followed several educational and training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
• Married with 3 children.
