Security measures against smuggling on 08 and 09 /04/2021

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 08 and 09/04/2021, as a result of the security measures taken by Army units in Deir Aamar, Wadi Khaled, al-Mhamara, and Marjaayoun, a Lebanese citizen was arrested for being involved in human trafficking.

The seized items in the aforementioned areas included: 2775 liters of diesel and 44 sheep.

The seized items were handed over. The investigation was initiated with the arrested under the supervision of the competent judiciary authorities.
