Security Measures Taken By The LAF In Various Lebanese Regions during June

The Army Headquarters - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
As a result of the security measures taken by Army units in different Lebanese regions, these units arrested around 2336 individuals of different nationalities, for attempting to escape checkpoints and hit a soldier, for the possession of weapons and narcotics and for unlawfully driving cars and motorcycles. The confiscated items amounted to 79 combat weapons of different types, 3181 shots from medium and light ammunition as well as communication devices and surveillance cameras in addition to vehicles, motorcycles and 222 fishing boats, narcotics and smuggled Tobacco.
The arrested individuals were turned in along with the confiscated items to the relevant authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
