A Soldier Shot by another Soldier

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 26/8/2024, one of the soldiers was shot by another soldier using a firearm at an Army center, resulting in his death. The shooting did not occur due to a dispute between the soldiers, with the possibility of it happening accidentally.
The LAF Command is conducting the necessary investigations under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
