Soldiers arrested after assaulting a physician in a hospital

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Media outlets and social media pages have posted a video on their newsfeeds showing a physician being assaulted by Army soldiers in a hospital. The Army Command regrets this incident and confirms that this act does not represent the military institution, its values and principles. The Army Command would like to note that disciplinary action was taken against the soldiers who assaulted the physician and an investigation is in process.

The Military Institution renews its utmost respect to the medical personnel and its deep appreciation to its noble and humanitarian message and refuses any assault against the medical staff under any reason or pretext.
