A statement concerning the protests of citizens

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The Army Command reiterates its statement that the freedom of expression and peaceful protest and the freedom of responsible media are sacred in legal limits. The Army Command also confirms that the main mission of the LAF is to protect constitutional institutions and public and private property as well as the safety and security of citizens.
The command calls upon citizens who wish the express their opinion in a peaceful way to refrain from targeting other people’s lives and commutes. Moreover, the command states that the LAF will not be tolerant with any saboteur or infiltrator who attempt to deviate the demands from their true course with the aim of targeting the image of security forces and stirring tumult and chaos in the country.
