A Syrian arrested in Al Tabbaneh – Tripoli for his involvement in smuggling people illegally by sea

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 02/06/2022, an army unit arrested the Syrian (J.K.) while raiding his residence in Al Tabbaneh – Tripoli, for smuggling people illegally by sea in Tripoli in exchange for payments.

On 28/06/2022, an army force had arrested his brother and seized a large amount of money, a number of documents and various receipts in his residence.

The arrestee and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
