Terrorist Nayef Saleh Rayed, AKA “el Aqraa”, arrested

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The Intelligence Directorate arrested terrorist Nayef Saleh Rayed, AKA “el Aqraa”, accused of assaulting a patrol for the LAF, which led to the martyrdom of an officer and NCO on 01/02/2013 in Ersal. Rayed had participated in ensuring the transportation of several terrorists from and to Lebanon and is connected to a major terrorist from Ain el Helwe camp and works logistically for its sake.
Moreover, Rayed had several arrest warrants issued by the military court for terrorism crimes and for forming a terrorist gang, committing terrorist acts and trafficking of weapons and combat ammunition and providing them to terrorists.
Investigation was carried out with the arrested individual under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
