Three Individuals Arrested for Committing Various Crimes, Including Armed Kidnapping

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following the circulation of videos on social media showing the armed kidnapping of a citizen at Saint Therese – Hadath, and as a result of tracking by the Directorate of Intelligence, a patrol arrested citizen (M.H.) in Bir Al Abed – Southern Suburbs (Dahye Janoubiye) for his involvement in the kidnapping. The kidnapped citizen (R.T.) was also arrested after it was revealed that he was wanted for committing various crimes, including motorcycle theft, shooting, drug use and trafficking, and causing disturbances. A pistol and military ammunition were found in his possession.

Another patrol from the Directorate arrested citizen (AA.G.) in Mrayje – Southern Suburbs (Dahye Janoubiye) for shooting and threatening citizens. Weapons and military ammunition were found in his possession.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
