Thwarting an illegal smuggling attempt of Syrians across the sea

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, a navy patrol arrested 3.5 miles from Qalamoun shore a boat while attempting to illegally leave the Lebanese regional waters, after having departed from Bhenine. On board were 10 Syrians.

Investigations were carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
