A training maneuver about attacking and taking down terrorist groups entrenched in built areas

Units from the 8th Infantry Brigade in Saadiyet, in participation with the 5th intervention regiment, the engineering regiment and the anti-armor regiment performed a training maneuver about attacking and taking down terrorist groups entrenched in built areas. The maneuver was attended by several Army Command officers and officers from major units, brigades and independent regiments and included search and raid operations and the use of explosives.
This maneuver comes in the frame of a qualitative training plan put forth by the Army Command to ensure the preparedness of units for swift and efficient intervention in different combat circumstances.
