Tripartite Meeting In Ras El Naqoura
The Army Headquarters - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On this morning, a tripartite meeting was held in Ras el Naqoura, presided by UNIFIL Commander Major General Stefano Del Col in the presence of a delegation of LAF Officers headed by the coordinator of the Lebanese government in the UNIFIL Brigadier General Pilot P.S.C Amine Farhat.
The Lebanese side expressed the commitment to persisting in the cooperation and coordination between LAF and UNIFIL as well as committing to resolution 1701 and its stipulations. The Lebanese side also slammed the continuous Israeli violations that are far more frequent than the Lebanese side and demanded the US and the international society of their immediate cessation. Moreover, the Lebanese side also demanded a complete and immediate retreat from Chebaa farms, Kfarshouba Hills and Ghajar village. As for the maritime borders, the Lebanese side reminded if Lebanon's stance and its diplomatic efforts to preserve its full maritime rights.
