Tripartite meeting in Ras el Naqoura

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 29/9/2022, an exceptional tripartite meeting was held in Ras Naqoura, headed by the Head of Mission and Force Commander of the UNIFIL, Major General Aroldo Lazaro, in the presence of a delegation of Lebanese army officers headed by the Lebanese government's coordinator to the United Nations forces, Brigadier Mounir Shehadeh.

The Lebanese side addressed the daily and repeated Israeli attacks on Lebanese sovereignty by land, sea and air, and reaffirmed Lebanon's commitment to Resolution 1701 and all its implications. He also called on the United Nations to exercise maximum pressure on the Israeli enemy in order to curb its hostile practices.
