The vehicle of a negotiator was targeted with a rocket, leading to his death

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On the same date, in Wadi Hmayed – Ajram intersection, the vehicle of former representative of the head of Ersal municipality Mr. Ahmad Fleety, accompanied by Fayez Fleety, assigned to holding the negotiations with terrorist groups, was targeted with a rocket fired by the terrorist Nusra organization, leading to the amputation of Fayez Fleety’s foot and the injury of the second with different wounds. The army provided healthcare in coordination with the International Red Cross and transferred them to a local hospital for treatment. Citizen Ahmad Fleety soon passed away as a result of his wounds.
