Violation of the withdrawal line and the launching of smoke bombs towards a patrol of the Lebanese Army in the area of Bastara - South

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 23/09/2023, between 11:00 and 12:00, Israeli enemy troops violated the withdrawal line and launched smoke bombs towards a patrol of the Lebanese Army while escorting a bulldozer that was removing an earthen berm established by the Israeli enemy north of the withdrawal line (the Blue Line) in Bastara – South Lebanon. The patrol members responded to the attack by launching tear gas canisters towards the enemy troops, forcing them to withdraw.
