VISIT OF GENERAL JOSEPH AOUN TO THE HASHEMITE KINGDOM OF JORDAN

His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan received the LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun and they discussed the situation in the region in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon, as well as the status of the military institution and the challenges it faces.

King Abdullah II emphasized the army’s crucial role as a guarantor of security and stability in Lebanon and reaffirmed the Kingdom's unwavering support for it. General Aoun expressed his profound gratitude for Jordan's continuous support to the military institution and the nation, especially for the humanitarian aid provided during the current crisis.

This visit followed an invitation from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Pilot Youssef Ahmed Al Huneiti to discuss ways to support the Lebanese army amidst the current phase.
