Visit of the LAF Commander in Chief to Fouad Chehab Academy for Command and General Staff

The LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun visited this morning Fouad Chehab Academy for Command and General Staff in Rihaniye, where he met the officers of the 35th Staff  Course who will soon graduate, and addressed them, saying: “With your determination, you managed to overcome the difficulties and passed your academic exams with brilliant results. A successful leader stands out during difficult circumstances. What circumstances are more difficult than the pressing and unforgiving economic burdens?”
He added, “The country is going through a difficult and delicate stage at the economic level. The LAF Command is making continuous efforts to help the military by all possible means, whether by supporting the Military Healthcare or coordinating with friend armies to obtain aid. In this context, the commendable initiative that will be undertaken by friend countries stands out, through an international conference to support the LAF.”
In the end, General Aoun congratulated the officers of the course and called them to invest the information and skills they acquired in their professional lives, wishing them success in their future jobs. He concluded by saying: "The difficulties will inevitably pass, and thanks to our firm will, we will cross to safety."
