Much has been said concerning security plans, however we have chosen to resort to security measures such as the measures adopted in all the Lebanese regions where they can be intensified or lightened according to the collected information and data” General Aoun said.
He then added that “the region of Baalbek is in the heart of the LAF since many of its sons are enlisted in the Military Institution and around 800 martyr soldier from this land have given their lives in defense of Lebanon. Baalbek is the city of civilization and history and this was clearly manifested through the festivals which were organized despite all the doubts”.
