Visit of the Lebanese Armed Forces Commander and French Minister of Defense to Military Healthcare

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received the French Minister of Defense, Sébastien Lecornu, in his office in Yarzeh. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two armies. They then visited the military healthcare, where its Chief, Colonel Dany Bsharaoui, provided an overview of its status, capabilities, needs, and ongoing development projects. They also toured the departments and observed their operations.

Minister Lecornu praised the significant efforts made by the military healthcare personnel and their professionalism in carrying out their duties. He emphasized the priority of supporting the army, particularly military healthcare, given the current challenges.

This visit is part of various initiatives undertaken by the French authorities to provide different forms of assistance to the army and enhance its capabilities, especially in the healthcare field.
