The UN Special Coordinator in Lebanon, Ms. Joanna Wronecka and Deputy Najat Aoun Saliba, visited the military academy in two separate visits, where they met the female officers from the recently graduated "centenary of the Military Academy" course, in the presence of the Academy's commander and a number of its officers.

Ms. Wronecka and Saliba congratulated the female officers on their successful graduation and overcoming the difficulties of training over three years at the Academy, during which they proved that they are equal to their male colleagues. They also reviewed with them the challenges that women face in their professional career, and stressed the importance of their role in various career fields, especially security and military.

The two visitors also encouraged the graduates to continue their distinguished performance and strive to excel in their professional careers, in the service of the army and the country.
