Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received in his office in Yarzeh the special envoy of the French President Emmanuel Macron, former Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, in the presence of the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Hervé Margo. They discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the latest developments in the south.
Le Drian commended the performance of the army in facing challenges and reaffirmed France's unwavering support for the military institution. On the other hand, General Aoun thanked France for its constant interest in the army and its continuous provision of assistance, including the recent medical aid.
