Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal received in his office in Yarzeh the head of the Cessation of Hostilities Implementation Mechanism, U.S. Major General Jasper Jeffers, during a visit in which he introduced his successor, Major General Michael Leeney, who assumed his duties today, in the presence of U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa A. Johnson. The discussions focused on developments in the south and the stages of implementing the ceasefire agreement.
