Visitors of General Joseph Aoun

Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh a delegation of the Spanish Defense Ministry headed by Major General Luis Cebrian Corbonell who participated in the central ceremony that took place this morning on the Independence Day as a representative of the Spanish Minister of Defense. The visiting delegation congratulated the Armed Forces Commander on the occasion and its members expressed their appreciation to the Lebanese Army for the initiative of hoisting the Spanish flag during “Dawn of the Outskirts” operation as a sign of solidarity with the Spanish people following the terrorist operation that targeted the city of Barcelona on 17/8/2017. Discussions during the visit also addressed the relations of cooperation between the armies of both countries and the means to develop these relations.
