VISITORS OF THE LEBANESE ARMY COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, received in his office in Yarzeh the Commander of the Malaysian Joint Forces, Lieutenant-General Tengku Muhammad Fauzi Bin Tengku Ibrahim, accompanied by a delegation. The meeting focused on the situation and developments in southern Lebanon, the post-UNIFIL phase, and ways to strengthen cooperation and training between the Lebanese and Malaysian armed forces.General Haykal also praised the role of the Malaysian contingent serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and commended the dedication and sacrifices of its personnel.
