Visitors of the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief

The Army Commander–in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal received in his office in Yarzeh the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security, Gilles Michaud, along with an accompanying delegation. Discussions focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the post-UNIFIL phase.

During the meeting, Michaud praised the efforts of the military institution and expressed his appreciation for the army’s role in maintaining stability.

For his part, General Haykal commended the United Nations’ support for Lebanon amid the current challenges.
