Visitors of the minister of Defense and the LAF Commander

The Deputy Prime Minister, minister of National Defense Mr.Samir Moqbel received in his office in Yarzeh today the Commander of the Indonesian national armed forces General Gatot Nurmantyo who was heading an accompanying military delegation. Discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region. Minister Moqbel commended the efforts of the Indonesian unit operating under the UNIFIL Command and stressed the importance of boosting the bilateral relations between the Lebanese and the Indonesian armies in a way to serve the interest of both friend countries.
Moreover, General Nurmantyo and the accompanying delegation visited LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi in his office where they discussed issues related to the military and security cooperation between both armies and the missions of the Indonesian unit operating in the south.
