Wanted individuals arrested in the Southern suburb

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 24 and 25/09/2021, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in the Southern suburb a number of individuals, wanted for several arrest warrants as follows:

The citizen (T.A.) for promoting and abusing narcotics, opening fire and throwing a hand grenade and causing the injury of an individual, killing a citizen, carrying out robberies, intimidating citizens, encircling a hospital along with others and drawing his weapon towards a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate.

The Syrians (B.Gh.) and (A.D.) and the citizen (Kh.A.) for promoting and abusing narcotics and sneaking persons into Lebanese territories.

Then citizen (F.Ch.) for opening fire and causing injuries and carrying out robberies. He was seized in possession of an amount of narcotics and Hashish.

Moreover, an army unit and a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the residences of wanted individuals in al Laylaki, for burning down a gas station in al Kafaat, opening fire and intimidating citizens at an earlier date. The issue is being followed up to arrest them.

During the raid, the citizen (Y.Z.) was arrested for opening fire towards another gas station and causing trouble.

The investigation began with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
