Drill to conclude the joint exercise RESOLUTE UNION 2023 in the presence of the Army Commander
The Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, attended the drill to conclude the joint exercise Resolute Union 2023 in the Hannouch area, which lasted for nine days and was carried out under the command of the army’s Navy and with the participation of the Air Force, Military Medical forces, Engineering Regiment and Sea Commandos, along with American, British and French training teams, and Jordanian, Egyptian and Iraqi units.
The drill was executed in the presence of the US Ambassador to Lebanon, Mrs. Dorothy Shea, representatives of various embassies, a number of military attaches and army officers. It simulated a joint operation by sea, land and air, and included raiding ships, evacuating the wounded by rafts, naval and air strikes, landing operations and diving with underwater detonation. The drill aimed to enhance the capabilities of the army's military units and raise the level of cooperation and coordination with the participating friend armies.
