Raids of residences and Arrest of 66 Wanted Individuals, and Confiscation of Contraband within the Security Measures in Various Lebanese Regions

On 30/12/2023, as part of the ongoing security measures in various regions of Lebanon, military units conducted residences raids that resulted in the arrest of 66 wanted individuals. Additionally, quantities of cannabis, stolen cars and motorcycles, counterfeit money, as well as significant amounts of weapons and ammunition were seized.
The seized items were handed over, and investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
The Army Command reiterates the importance for citizens to refrain from shooting, especially during the holiday period, under the risk of legal consequences and prosecution.
