The LAF Takes Control of Former Centers of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command and a Former Camp of the Fatah Intifada Organization

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The army has received the centers in the Sultan Yaqub area in West Bekaa and Hoshmosh between the towns of Qusayya and Deir al-Ghazal in Central Bekaa, which were previously affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command. Additionally, the army has taken over the Halwa camp in Rashaya, which was previously under the Fatah Intifada organization and has confiscated quantities of weapons and ammunition, as well as military equipment.
The LAF continues to take over military centers that were occupied by Palestinian organizations within Lebanese territory, as part of its efforts to maintain security and stability and to establish state authority in various regions.
