Deployment of LAF Units around the Town Of Shamaa – Tyre and Entering it

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

LAF units have been deployed around Shamaa - Tyre in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to enhance their presence in the area. They have begun entering the town concurrently with the withdrawal of the Israeli enemy from it, following communications made by the Quintet Committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement. The deployment will continue in the upcoming phase, while specialized units will conduct a technical survey of the town to remove unexploded ordnance.

Therefore, the LAF Command urges citizens to avoid approaching the area and adhere to military unit instructions until the deployment is complete.
