Arrest of individuals in Burj al Barajneh – Baabda and Hortaala – Baalbek

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in Burj al Barajneh – Baabda arrested the citizens (M.M.) and his son (M.M.) for shooting during an altercation on April 22, 2025, which led to the death of one citizen.

Additionally, another patrol from the Directorate in Hortaala – Baalbek arrested the citizen (M.H.M.), who is wanted for committing various crimes, including: shooting at an army patrol, obstructing an Internal Security Forces patrol, facilitating the escape of a dangerous wanted individual involved in drug trafficking, robbery and armed theft, and drug trafficking.

 Investigations with the arrestees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
