Raids and Arrests of Citizens for Shooting, Seizure of Weapons, Ammunition, and Drugs

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the security measures implemented by the military institution in various regions, LAF units, assisted by patrols from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of wanted individuals and arrested three citizens as follows:

• The arrest of the citizen (AA.S.) in Brital – Baalbek, who was wanted for shooting, with a quantity of weapons and ammunition seized in his possession.
• The arrest of a citizen (AA.S.) in Mughayrieh–Chouf, who was also wanted for shooting.
• A raid on the residences of the wanted citizen (M.AA.) in the town of Al Abbasiya – Tyre, where a quantity of weapons and ammunition was seized.

Additionally, another LAF unit arrested the citizen (A.M.) at the Deir Ammar – Miniyeh checkpoint, and a quantity of drugs was seized in his possession.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
