Destruction of an area planted with cannabis and the arrest of 3 individuals

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Within the framework of combating drug trafficking, a LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, destroyed an area planted with cannabis in Ras Baalbek.

Additionally, patrols from the Directorate, each accompanied by a LAF unit, raided the residences of wanted individuals in Bar Elias and Harat Al Fikani - Zahle, as well as in Al Zahiriyeh - Tripoli, arresting 3 individuals for possession of weapons and military ammunition.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestees began under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
