VISITORS OF THE LEBANESE ARMY COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal received in his office in Yarzeh the Senior Advisor to the UK Ministry of Defence for the Middle East, Admiral Edward Ahlgren, with an accompanying delegation, in the presence of British Ambassador Hamish Cowell and Defense Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Charles Smith. Discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries’ armies.

He also received the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, with discussions likewise covering the general situation in Lebanon and the region.
