The army received 6 members from the Palestinian National Security Forces in connection with the shooting at Citizen Elio Abou Hanna and his murder, and 5 individuals in connection with the crime of murdering a girl in the camp

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As a result of the follow-up, coordination, and intensive communications with the concerned parties in Shatila camp, the Intelligence Directorate received 6 members from the Palestinian National Security Forces, in connection with the shooting at citizen Elio Abou Hanna's vehicle and his murder inside the camp on 26/10/2025, at which time they were among the personnel at a security checkpoint in the aforementioned camp.

The army also received from the aforementioned organization one citizen and 4 Syrians in connection with the crime of murdering a girl in the camp, whose body was found on 28/10/2025.

The investigation with the arrestees was initiated, and follow-up is underway to receive the remaining suspects.
