The army has rescued a kidnapped Kuwaiti citizen and arrested those involved in the kidnapping

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

After security surveillance and careful monitoring, the Intelligence Directorate succeeded on November 5, 2025, in rescuing a Kuwaiti citizen who had been kidnapped on November 1, 2025. They arrested two citizens (M.D.) and (A.D.), as well as a Syrian national (F.Y.), involved in the kidnapping in Saadnayel - Zahle. During the arrest operation, the first suspect fired at the Directorate's personnel, who returned fire without any injuries. The vehicle used in the kidnapping was also seized.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
