Two soldiers were martyred, three others were injured, and one wanted individual was killed during clashes with suspects while executing a series of raid operations

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On November 18, 2025, two soldiers were martyred and three others were injured as a result of clashes with wanted individuals during a series of raid operations conducted by the Intelligence Directorate, with the support of a unit from the army in Sharawna -Baalbek.

During the clashes, the wanted citizen (H.AA.J.), who was among those firing at the army, was injured and soon succumbed to his wounds. He was one of the most dangerous wanted individuals for various crimes, including firing at army patrols on different occasions, which resulted in the martyrdom of four soldiers and injuries to an officer, in addition to kidnapping, robbery, and armed theft, as well as drug trafficking.

A large quantity of drugs, weapons, and military ammunition was seized during the raid operation. The seized items were handed over, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects involved.
