Denying what was reported by a foreign electronic website regarding the affiliation and loyalty of some soldiers

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A foreign electronic website circulated information alleging that some military personnel belong or show loyalty to a certain party.

The Army Command categorically denies the accuracy of this information and affirms that all its members uphold a clear and steadfast military doctrine, and their full loyalty is to the military institution and the nation.

It also urges the public to refrain from disseminating suspicious news aimed at undermining the reputation of the Army, especially during this sensitive phase our country is currently experiencing.
