Arrest of One of the Most Dangerous Wanted Individuals at the Entrance of Shatila Camp – Beirut as Part of Combating Drug Trafficking
The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The Army continues to combat drug trafficking and production, and to pursue those who disrupt security in various regions. In this context, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested at the entrance of Shatila Camp – Beirut the wanted individual (H.N.), known as “Hassan Jarrafa,” who was running the “Shatila Hangar,” following a monitoring and tracking operation. He is considered one of the most dangerous wanted individuals for committing multiple crimes, including: forming an armed gang for trafficking and using military weapons and drugs, firing at an Army patrol and throwing a hand grenade toward its members, causing disturbances, extortion, armed robbery, and stealing motorcycles.
Two military pistols, along with a large quantity of drugs and stolen items, were seized in his possession.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
