The Army arrests the killer of Syrian Ghassan Naassan Al Sukhni

 The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 23/12/2025, following security surveillance and monitoring operations conducted by the Army’s Intelligence Directorate, the Directorate arrested the Syrian (W.D.), who had lured the Syrian  Ghassan Naassan Al Sukhni to the outskirts of Kfaryassin–Keserwan on 22/12/2025, where he shot him with a military pistol, leading to his death, as a result of a financial dispute between them. He then attempted to flee before being apprehended at the border of Talbireh–Akkar.

An investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
