Raids and arrests of individuals, along with the seizure of a quantity of weapons, military ammunition, and drugs

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of efforts to pursue individuals disrupting security and to confiscate weapons across various Lebanese regions, and following surveillance and monitoring operations, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the residence of citizen (H.AA.) in Aramoun – Aley, arrested him for possessing weapons and military ammunition, and seized a quantity of these items, in addition to electronic devices.

Another patrol also arrested citizen (A.S.) in Bchamoun – Aley for trafficking in military weapons and threatening residents at gunpoint. A quantity of weapons and military ammunition was found in his possession.

Additionally, another patrol raided the residence of a citizen (M.AA.) in Bebnine – Akkar and arrested his Syrian wife (S.L.) for engaging in drug trafficking and distribution alongside her husband. A large quantity of hashish, salvia, and narcotic pills was seized, along with weapons and military ammunition.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
