Visitors of the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal received at his office in Yarzeh the Commander of Italy's Joint Operations Command, Lieutenant General Giovanni Maria Iannucci, who headed a delegation, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Fabrizio Marcelli. The meeting focused on the general situation, current developments, and ways to support the Lebanese Army in light of the challenges it faces, as well as the available options for the post-UNIFIL phase.

General Haykal also received MP Charbel Maroun, with whom he discussed the latest developments. During the meeting, MP Maroun expressed his appreciation for the role played by the military institution, stressing the importance of standing by the Lebanese Army and supporting it in preserving civil peace.
