Visitors of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh MP Bahiya el-Hariri then MP Fadi Karam where they discussed the general situation in the country. Moreover, General Aoun received former LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi, then a delegation from GS team association headed by Ms. Josephine Khalife. General Aoun also received the head of the oil importing companies committee, Mr. Maroun Chammas where they discussed general affairs. A delegation from the Beirut Marathon association, headed by Ms. May Khalil was also one of the commander’s visitors. Ms. Khalil informed General Aoun about the program of the “BankMed” race for youth which will take place at the beginning of next month in support of the military institution.

Furthermore, General Aoun received the commander of joint operation in the Australian Defense Forces Admiral David Johnston in the presence of the Chargé d’Affaires in the Australian Embassy Ms. Gemma Huggins as well as the Military Attaché Colonel Christopher Buxton where they discussed the relations of cooperation between both armies.
