Visitors of Armed forces commander General Joseph Aoun

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Chief of the Spanish Defense Staff General Fernando Alejandre Martinez who headed an accompanying delegation. Discussions during the visit focused on bilateral relations between the armies of both countries as well as the mission performed by the Spanish Battalion operating under UNIFIL Command. General Aoun also received the head of the General Confederation of Lebanese Workers Mr. Bechara el-Asmar as well as the regional Secretary General of the Arab Baath Socialist Party Mr. Naaman Shalaq who headed an accompanying delegation. General Aoun also met during the day with the businessman Nazih Hamad and Mr. Bassam Afifi who headed a delegation from the town of Shebaa.
Later, General Aoun received the Head of Bishmizin Municipality Mr. Fawzi Kalash who headed a delegation and talks addressed different issues.
