Graduation ceremony of Masters students in Strategic studies

Under the patronage of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun, represented by Chief of Staff Major General P.S.C Amine el Aram, the graduation ceremony of the second batch of Masters Students majoring in Strategic studies was held in the center of research and strategic studies, in accordance with a joint program between the center and the faculty of Law and political and administrative science in the Lebanese University. The graduation was attended by the dean of the faculty, Dr. Kamil Habib, representing the head of the Lebanese University Professor Fouad Ayoub, in addition to several officers and Academic figures.

The ceremony started with the Lebanese national anthem, then the chargé d’Affaires of the center Brigadier General P.S.C Saiid Kozah and Dr. Kamil Habib delivered speeches on the occasion in which they stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation in exchanging expertise and knowledge and allow officers to specialize in strategic studies.

Major General P.S.C Aram also delivered a speech that included: “education is a main factor in building nations and developing societies. It is an impactful agent in developing one’s personality and boosting their social status. Therefore, the LAF command gives great attention to this field and always encourages self-improvement and education, whether inside the military institution for officers and soldiers or outside the institution, in the Lebanese society through partnership with national universities.”

Moreover, Major General Aram conveyed the congratulation of General Aoun to the graduates, expressed his appreciation to the Lebanese University and commended the efforts of officers and soldiers in the center of research and strategic studies.

The ceremony was concluded with the distribution of diplomas to the graduates and offering a commemorative shield to the representative of the head of the Lebanese University. A cocktail reception was held on the occasion.
